ALTERMIA Report

The technological Adequacy of the “Sky Global” photovoltaic modules has been compared by means of an independent audit carried out by ALTERMIA Asesores Técnicos, a technological consulting company specialised in the field of renewable energies and the environment. Its work has been reflected in a “Technological Adequacy Report on Sky Global Photovoltaic Modules” published in February 2008.

The technicians from ALTERMIA who went to China directly saw in the field all the manufacturing processes corresponding to the “Sky Global” brand, visiting the silicon transformation centres (Jing Ao Solar, LDK and Motech Industries) and those producing components and final assembly authorised as OEM’s (Original Equipment Manufacturer): Shanghai Chaori Solar Energy, Shanghai Jinglong Solar Energy and Changzhou Eging Photovoltaic Technology, inter alia.

A substantial part of said technical auditing was based at the facilities of “Sky Global New Energy Institute”, a body charged with carrying out the final quality control of all manufacturing, verifying the technology, methods and checking systems deployed in said process. The Institute is situated in the city of Changzhou (province of Jiangsu) in the People’s Republic of China.
